The tool starts as a clearly marked draft. It calls the document a full-payment receipt only when the amount entered covers the itemised total; a smaller payment is identified as a part-payment. VAT is off by default and must be deliberately entered by a VAT-registered user. A receipt records a payment and is not an invoice or VAT invoice.
