How to make a useful completion record
- Enter the job reference, address, customer and dates.
- Describe the agreed scope and exactly what was completed. Add individual tasks and main materials.
- Attach before and after photos where helpful, and list work still outstanding with a responsible person or next action.
- Record exclusions and documents handed over. Ask the customer to review the record; add an acknowledgement only with their agreement.
- Download the editable JSON backup, then print or save the PDF. Check every page before sharing.
Common questions
Is this a legal or safety certificate?
No. It is a record of what a person entered about a job. It cannot replace a statutory completion certificate, regulated inspection, test report or proof of compliance.
Can I leave customer acknowledgement blank?
Yes. The record and PDF work without a name or signature. Acknowledgement of receipt does not mean acceptance of unfinished work or waive the customer's rights.
Are photos or signatures uploaded?
No. They are processed in this browser and only leave your device when you choose to export, print or share a file. Anyone holding that file may see them, so handle it carefully.
Can I edit the record later?
Download an editable JSON backup and import it when you return. The job draft is not saved automatically.
